About us
Welcome! I’m April and RAWHyde Furnishings was born out of my love for all things antique/vintage, and home.
Many of the furnishings in the home I share with my husband came from antique stores or estate sales. I absolutely love the challenge of hunting for unique pieces in various places. Also, I've always been a huge fan of a good before and after transformation, so when I restyled an outdated furniture find for the first time, I knew this was something I had a passion for.
After a few casual projects for other people and seeing how pleased they were with my transformations, I made the leap and left my marketing job of almost 15 years to pursue this business venture that would also allow me to spend more time at home with a flexible schedule.
I love working with clients on a personal shopping venture for a specific piece and then helping them transform it to fit their style. I can also take something you already own and give it a new finish that fits your home's decor.
