  1. I noticed that parking at Dock Street is free before 10 a.m. and after 7:30 p.m. Is that true? If so, is it easy to park after 7:30 on weeknights? 2. I feel overwhelmed with how many restaurants there are in downtown. Can anyone recommend which restaurant (besides Pip's Dog Dock) I should try? Which one has the best crab cake sandwich?

  A few words of advice: Most of the restaurants near the circle (including Midleton) are awful. Always check yelp first, or you'll wind up paying 5 star prices for 2 star food and 1 star service. At all costs avoid the following: Buddy's Crabs and Ribs (I cannot emphasize enough how bad this place is) McGarvey's Saloon, Midleton Tavern, O'Briens In general, the better places to eat can be found on the upper half of Main Street, and especially along West Street. The other good places can be found across the drawbridge in East Port, generally along Severn Avenue. My recommendations by category: - Bar Food / Sandwiches: Boat Yard Bar and Grill (very good seafood/crabcakes) Davis' Pub Ram's Head Tavern Stan and Joe's Saloon Fox's Den (Piza and beer) Vida Taco Bar - Irish Food: Galway Bay Castle Bay - Sit Down Dinner (More formal): Carol's Creek Cafe O'Leary's Tavern Lewnes' Steakhouse Metropolitan Breakfast: Ms. Shirley's Cafe Chick and Ruth's Delly Iron Rooster East Port Kitchen (Not quite DTA, but very good) 49 West Coffeehouse -Other good food in the nearby area: Ebb Tide (awesome burgers and onion rings) Grump's Cafe Naval Bagels Neo Piza Jalapeno's Sin Fronteras Urburger Edgewater Restaurant SmokeHouse
