  Good morning everyone, need suggestions of a local tax preparer that's affordable and knowledgeable with personal and small business tax prep. Rather not use big companies (ie H&R Block) and Turbotax style services don't offer needed forms/deduction options for our business. Thank you!

  I used Jim Pound and he missed an important element in setting up my small business tax-wise. I waited and waited thinking the paper work would come any day. It didn't. I called the Utah Tax Commission, no record that what I needed was even filed. I called him and emailed him. He didn't know what I was referring to. I ended up doing it myself at much anguish because I had no clue what I was doing. I would recommend this gal: Jennifer Brown, Implex Tax and Accounting - (801) 849-9699. She's fun, knowledgeable, and best yet, she's ridiculously OCD and will not miss a thing. Her fees are very reasonable and upfront.
