  Any recommendations for a dog groomer? Our Pekingese needs a trim - nothing super fancy needed (he's already pretty short-haired for a peke), but still long enough to be somewhat difficult to manage. He's a rescue pup and so can be a bit skittish around strangers. To our knowledge, this will be his first (but certainly not last) grooming visit, so we're really hoping for it to be as good of an experience for him as possible. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

  If you are interested in a mobile groomer who comes to your home, I highly recommend Teri. I forget the name of her company, sorry. Her number is 404-433-9960. It is a little more expensive than taking your dog somewhere, but it is less stressful on the dog because there is no cage time. And I do like the convenience. And she is one of the best groomers I have had, which is a lot.
