  Can't help with psychiatrist recommendations but if you want the ESA letter, I recently went through Certapet.com. They matched me with a medical professional licensed in VA and I had the housing and travel letter within a couple of days. The professional they match you with will have to verify your need for an ESA so it's not as easy as signing up online.

  I recently had a friend certify her dog through Certapet.com. I believe they connect you with a doctor who you then talk to about why you need your pet as your ESA, and the doctor can prescribe your pet as an ESA with a letter or deny you a letter. But from what my friend said, it was an easy process, and was legitimate assuming you have the need. Hope that helps and good luck!
