Hi there! I'm Valerie. I like to make people laugh. I'm a dog lover so I hope you bring yours to your photo session!
In High School, I was voted as 'most likely to become a paparazzi' because I always had a camera in hand, and not much has changed since!
I sort of accidentally discovered my interest in photography when a friend convinced me to join my High School's yearbook committee and I've been hooked ever since!
I graduated from the Photography program at Algonquin College in 2011 and I did my coop placement with Ryan Parent Studios, who then hired me for photographing weddings and doing photo editing.
I gained experience working as a photo lab technician at Black's Photography. I also did a couple years working as a school photographer with Lifetouch Photography.
After having tried a mix of photography jobs, I found my calling doing lifestyle photography part-time: real-life events or milestones in an artistic manner and the art of the everyday!
Hey ladies,
I'm thinking of getting some maternity photos done in the new year. I'd like to start looking into local photographers now so I can plan it out. Any recommendations? (:

Hi ladies! I'm looking to do a little family photo session with my two year old son and husband. We love photographers who work alot in muted tones and colours and who s photographs really capture the essence of the family. Any recommendations? Our usual photographer is out east.
