Hi can I please advise you look at the ABTC register of qualified behaviourists (www.abtcouncil.org.uk) and look at Accredited behaviourists or Clinical behaviourists, or COAPE accredited practitioners (who aren't under ABTC yet). Please ensure you see qualified behaviourists (different to trainers) who use scientific up-to-date methods. I'm afraid my diary is too full to help but if you want to chat for further advice please give me a call on 07817478707
Hi All. Can anyone recommend a dog trainer based in/around Reading? Thanks!
Manuel T. replied:
Who ever you go with make sure that they operate under the Animal Behaviour and Training Council http://www.abtcouncil.org.uk this is the umbrella organisation for people who train animals.
can anyone recommend a good affordable dog trainer, if I can't get my dog to accept visitors into our house I'll have to take her back to the shelter

contact info@petsinpractise.co.uk for information on their behaviour services. Wherever there is a behavioural problem, seek advice from a fully qualified behaviourist. More information on qualified behaviourists in your area can be found on the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors - APBC Website.
