About the owner - Emee Pumarega began her career in events in 1997 at Green Pastures Restaurant in Austin, Texas. In 1999 she started EJP Events while working as director of convention services for a 350-room upscale hotel; and in 2002 moved the business to Portland while earning her CMP (Certified Meeting Professional designation).
Her client list includes Providence Health & Services, Point B Solutions Group, and Intel, among other corporate and social clients seeking to elevate the guest experience. She was nominated for a Gala Award, named Best Party and Wedding Planner by Portland Citysearch; and twice-named Best Wedding Planner by Oregon Bride Magazine. She is a founding member of the International Special Events Society - Portland Chapter and a Past President.
