  Love Guru the Caterer (Somerville but close), Royal India Bistro is low on the ingredients (i.e. meat) and flavor.

  Ritu Ki Rasoi in Burlington has the BEST food. Crummy ambience and weird location, but amazing, authentic food. Owner is from Kanpur, where I was born, super nice family. We love Guru, too. We miss Punjab terribly. Bollywood, Royal India Bistro, Rang, and Zaika, IMO unimpressive and not close to authentic.
