I'm a 20 something, Jesus lover and student at Utah Valley University. Most days you'll find me sipping tea, editing your beautiful faces and helping out with InterVarsity. My photography journey started back in 2011 with my late Father's Canon which he won in a drawing. I'd spend hours playing around with his camera filling up his memory cards until I finally took my first photography class. I became enthralled with capturing moments that could last a lifetime and began shooting anything and everything from my 13 pets to my friend's beautiful babies. It wasn't until 2014 that I made a leap of faith and Kedemoth Photography was born.
Kedemoth ked'-e-moth is an ancient Hebrew word which mean beginnings, antiquity; old age. In Deuteronomy 2:26 it is referred to as the "wilderness" or "uncultivated pasture land". A city near the Dead Sea west of the "way of the wilderness to Moab" (Deuteronomy 2:8). This name alone holds so much significance to me and my life. Moab, Utah is a sacred place to my family and I and especially my late Father. Some of my best memories of him are us in our '97 Lexus Land Cruiser named Precious climbing the desert terrane. I cherish those memories and the pictures we took together there. This is why I do what I do.
My ultimate goal is to capture your beginnings, your new uncultivated pastures, the start of your beautiful things. My style is raw, natural and authentic. I find joy in capturing your candid moments, moments you'll be able to look back on years from now and share with your grandchildren. Memories that will continue and live on.
Your life is worth sharing. Let me help you share it.
