  Tree Service Recommendations Does anyone have any recommendations on tree service companies? I have a large tree in my backyard that is dying off that I need to get taken down. The reviews I've seen so far for some of these companies are limited and mostly negative but I'm guessing that's because only the bad experiences have been listed. Has anyone on here had to have any tree work done and if so who did you use and what was your feeling of them? Thanks

  Maybe too late, but T&L Tree Service is wonderful. They're based in Hazelwood and have the contract for power line tree trimming there as well as chipping services for the city of Bridgeton. We've had them take down 4 or 5 trees so far, and they're always great to work with. They have arborists on staff that do the estimates and can tell you what needs to happen -- be it taking down the tree, just dead-limbing it, heavy pruning, etc. http://www.tltreeservice.com/
