  Hello, we are in the process of buying a house and want to have a bit of work done. We want the kitchen knocking through into the dining room. I think it might be a supporting wall. We also want the window in the dining room taking out and patio doors put in its place, and a new kitchen. The gas cooker needs taking out as it is on the wall that is coming down. There is a gas fire in the dining room that might as well come out at the same time. I dont know if one contractor would do all of this or if we need a builder, a kitchen fitter, and a window fitter and a gas engineer. Or perhaps a combination of one or two! Advice/recommendations would be really appreciated. The job is likely to be in Autumn but we would like someone to come and look at the house with us soon to give a quote.
