  Hal J. wrote: Owner Kevin Brightman required $1206 before starting the job to resurface my patio. He was supposed to start the first Monday in Sept. However, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, no show, no call. On Wednesday I call him, he says he will start next Monday. The days they were supposed to start first thing in the morning, it was actually late afternoon, or no show, no call. I had to keep calling him to find out when they would show up again. They finally completed the job in the middle of November, after many calls, emails and texts. That day a worker yanked on his extension cord, causing my baker's rack and almost $200 worth of items to come crashing down. I found the entire experience with this company to be unreliable and unprofessional. Since that day, Kevin keeps telling me that he will reimburse me for the items. I have contacted him about 20 times, but have not received a penny from him. He lied to me many times by telling me that he was going to pay me. He has not paid me yet.

  We also had Benchmark do our new pool cage and are very happy. Phone is 941-916-6239. Also had our pool deck and lanai floor resurfaced last year with a concrete mixture done to look like stones. Also happy. It was done by Charlotte County Resurfacing, phone 941-628-1423. Both of these companies are out of Port Charlotte.
