About us

Our business started in 1969 when we opened a drapers shop in Warners End, Hemel Hempstead. The shop was opened in 1980 and is one of the largest stockists for miles around. Whatever you are looking for and what ever your sewing skills we have everything for the home sewer and there is always a knowledgeable member of staff who can help you to buy the right thing. We like to think our staff are the friendliest and most knowledgeable in the area. There are 7 parking spaces at the front of the shop for our customers.

We are all only to pleased to help our customers with their latest projects. We assist on a daily basis everything from a school child's first sewing project to very complicated wedding or tailoring requirements. We are always here to offer advice with curtaining and home furnishing calculations. All our staff are here to assist with other needlework professionals, who have become over the last 18 years, a major part of our business. We are always prepared to search our suppliers on behalf of dressmakers for the elusive item.
