  Looking for info/sales on mattresses So it is time for a new bed, and since there will be sales on for boxing week, does anyone know of any good sales? Also is anyone informed, recently sought a new bed with recommendations, or know sites to find decent info on beds and brands? When I buy tech products, or expensive goods, I like to research to try and make an informed decision but don't know where to start looking in regards if beds.

  The mattress industry is pretty shady as it is. There are lots of websites you can read up on it at, but they make it impossible for you to compare prices - no 2 places will have the same make/models, markups are astronomical, and there's so many buzz words/features that don't do anything but make it more expensive and sound special. In the end if you get anything less than 50% off the regular retail price at any major retailer (sleep country, sears, the brick etc), you paid too much. My buddy bought a couple through these people and it seemed pretty good. He seemed to get a great deal without all the BS.
