I used http://www.intercitylines.com/ to get my car from St. Louis to Portland but it took a while for them to fill a truck for the NW. They seem to be more of an east coast and California company. So while they did an awesome job, I'd probably use Reliable if I had to ship again.

  I have used http://www.reliablecarriers.com twice now and been extremely happy each time. If you let them work with you on timing, so they can fill a load, they can give you a great price. They always have loads coming up I-15 out of LA. Most of the other guys on the net are brokers and you will get a never ending series of calls and emails.
