  I am taking a road trip with my young family in December. We are traveling from central Ohio or central Kansas with 2 two year olds and an infant. I'm trying to find things to do along the way to break up the trip and make the actual drive feel more like a vacation, since there won't be much to do in Lyons, Ks! My ideas so far are the Indianapolis children's museum on the way (taking 70) and Fair Oaks farms on the way back (going up and across 80). Any other ideas for where to stop at for two year olds? I was thinking Moline maybe but have never been there with kids. Obviously they can't do the factory tour.

  Union station in Kansas City has museums, science city for kids, model trains, restaurants, shops etc in it. Very popular family place. Unionstation.org.
