Founder of Exotik Sands Travel
Tanya is a well-traveled international travel agent with over 12 years of experience with a diploma in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Management and is the founder of Sea to Sky Travel. Her passion for travel is what prompted her into the travel industry. Driven by a sense of discovery and a fearless spirit, she continues to explore the world while inspiring others to do the same.
After graduating, Tanya hit the road to get her first travel job. She has grown extensively in her career starting from the ground up in the travel industry. Her first start was in Corporate Travel Reception and Corporate Travel for a major Oil & Gas Company; however, her dream was to explore the world and make dreams come true. She then moved on to Leisure Travel, specializing in Weddings, Honeymoons and Family Travel. A new opportunity arose to try something different, where Tanya specialized in Missionary & Humanitarian Travel; a truly rewarding and inspiring experience. Always embracing the love of leisure travel she has come to create more memories and dreams for both her new and existing clients.
Tanya is dedicated to helping people plan a vacation of a lifetime. Helping others and traveling the world is what she is passionate about. Tanya believes in helping her clients, whether a group, wedding, family, couple, or individual, create a customized vacation package that suits their particular interests, budget and needs.
Tanya has traveled to Europe, Scotland, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Costa Rica, Mexico, Jamaica, most of the Caribbean, Hawaii, Dubai, Africa, USA & Canada. Although there have been many destinations she has visited throughout the world,Tanya’s most memorable vacations so far was traveling throughout Italy and Africa.
In 2011 Tanya spent several weeks driving with her husband to various Italian cities including Venice, small villages throughout Tuscany, Florence and Rome. She enjoyed touring the many historic locations, as well as traveling... show more through the lesser known little towns of Italy, followed by a Mediterranean cruise to explore Turkey and Greece.
In 2015 Tanya traveled to Dubai and then on to Nairobi, Kenya where she learned about and embraced the culture and friendliness of the Kenyan people. Spending time with the children at an orphanage just outside of Nairobi was an experience of a lifetime all on its own. She also experienced visiting a Maasai village to bring food hampers and learn their culture and way of living. She then finished the African trip with a Safari at Amboseli Safari Park, staying at Kibo Safari Camp.
Tanya is planning many more dream vacations with her husband. Their next adventure is to the South Pacific visiting Tahiti, Bora Bora, Bali, Australia and New Zealand.
This love for travel has helped make Tanya an expert at helping others plan their own FIT packages. She loves to make dreams come to reality and it is her pleasure to help each customer create a specialized itinerary that is based on their specific interests and likes. show more
