  Not sure about how they are with goldens, but my sister lives in West U and takes her dog here: http://ricevillageanimalhospital.com/about/ I've taken her myself once or twice and I really like the staff there and the fact they had separate dog and cat areas to enter into so there is no possibility of insanity between dogs and cat patients.... The staff really gets to know the pets by name and cares about their well-being.
