  Editing for brevity. Orange Leaf is leaving downtown - no business after tourist season. The City could benefit from thinking of other ways to improve "liveliness" year round. A YEAR ROUND DOWNTOWN, a few more people have to be able to live there or walk around there. And there have to be 'everyday' destinations. A few more people, a shift towards year round services and products, and warm walkability. Ideas?

We considered expanding our footprint into the vacated Gram's space, but it would have forced us to rip out & move our entire kitchen (ovens, hood, etc) to the other side. But yes - selling ice cream as your primary product in the winter is a tough business.
