  Help pls: is there a local food bank we can donate to? A friend of mine has a lot of tinned food etc she bought for another purpose and that fell through.

  St Bartholomew's Church in Marsden has a collection point for the The Welcome Centre (food bank based in Huddersfield) - leave at the back of church when open (Sundays 9.00 to 10.30 am or Tuesdays 9.15 to 10.15 am. The United Church at the bottom of Peel Street also has a collection point for the Welcome Centre - Carrie Hackett can advise on access times.

  SOS / URGENT MESSAGE - A friend / client of mine, due to extreme circumstances, is in DESPERATE need of clothing (Everything - Right down to socks, underwear and footwear) for a 5 year old girl, a 4 year old boy and a 1 year old boy.
