  ***Auction donation deadline approaching - PLEASE HAVE DONATIONS IN BY NOVEMBER 12th! *** We are collecting donations for the 3rd Annual Friends of Stark Pound online auction which will be held Friday, November 25th,Saturday, November 26th, & Sunday the 27th until 5:00pm. If you have personal contacts at local businesses please consider asking them for donations. If you’re not one of those people who likes to ask for gift certificates, etc. but knows that a local business would be willing to give please give me the contact information and we’ll either send a letter requesting a donation or will try to contact them directly. It costs a LOT of money to operate the pound, and while the county pays for basic services, we subsidize much more than is realized by the public. There have been so many dogs recently - expenses are up. Our goal is $10,000 this year, can you help? I’ll list some ideas for donations in the comments below.
