  Hey Meshendri welcome to the mother city :) I find when on reboot I can go most places and order a protein and veg. So you can order a steak and salad for example. Just ask them to hold the basting. If you want a deli type meal with choice I recommend https://www.facebook.com/178216092205189 Giovanni's in Greenpoint ... you can grab a plate of whatever you like. Or for a steak house Hassar Grill is a popular spot... NU is also a popular health chain in CT. I often go to Primi and have a Tbone and veg.. they will even do a chicken breast and veg for you.
