In the Spring of 2009 I had a dream to open a donut shop in Pelham Alabama in the most unlikeliest of places. I took a chance and opened our little donut shop just off the beaten path between two railroad tracks. Being a big Food Network fan I realized that some of the most popular places were those that provided a great tasting product above all else. My family sacrificed quite a bit as we worked on recipes for our donuts. My daughter Rachel spent many a late night watching television on the floor of the shop(with her leg in a cast) while we worked late into the night to perfect our donuts. When we first opened Donut Joe's there were basically two Donut shops in Birmingham, Krispy Kream and Shipleys. Now it seems every Fatcat "Johnny Come Lately" in Birmingham wants to make a quick buck selling donuts. Some even going as far as to follow our employees home after work to learn how we make our donuts. It's very flattering. I guess imitation really is the sincerest form of flattery. As Jake Tyler (co-owner of our Gardendale franchise) puts it..."We put a lot of LOVE in our donuts"! So true, it truly is our passion. We started Donut Joe's to bring the freshest most unique donuts to Alabama. Donut Joe's shops are truly unique and we think you will agree that we put a lot of love in our donuts! We are always open for feedback and suggestions as to how we can improve. Thank you all very much for supporting Donut Joe's over the years and as we continue to grow we promise not to lose sight of the fresh products and great service that got us here.
Looking for someone who can re-cover two F150 high back bucket seats for a reasonable price. Thanks in Advance!
