  On the subject of Howdy: Unbelievably, I have never fostered a long-haired cat! Several medium-haired cats, but never one with fur as thick as Howdy. He has a lot of matts on his belly and he gets distressed and upset if I try to groom him thoroughly. I believe I need the help of a professional to do some trimming, grooming, and maybe shave a little off the back so the poop does not get in the hair. Can anyone recommend a groomer in the south city or central metro area? One who would be reasonably priced, good with a senior cat, gentle, etc. I would like to get Howdy groomed on Friday so that he can go to the weekend adoption event looking good. Thanks!

  I take my furry guy, Frisky, to Pretty Paws, on Watson, in the Shop n Save Plaza. Shannon does a great job, but she does require the cat to be sedated for ease of handling. Frisky is 10 yrs old and has never had a problem with it. Her number is (314) 272-4106. Tell her Frisky and Stella's mom told u to call.
