  Does anyone have a recommendation of where I should go (as local as possible) to get help in choosing and purchasing a small upright piano? My amazing aunt is giving us one for Christmas, I just have to tell her what we want within her budget! I've been researching online since she told us, but I am at the point where I need to go see some in person and talk to a salesperson, because I know nothing of brands or what the various options do and require for upkeep. There used to be a piano-focused music store somewhat local, I thought, but the ones I'm seeing through google searches seem to be towards LA, and I'd really like to buy it closer if I can, since I know this will take multiple trips there before we are ready to make the purchase next month! And if anyone on here has personal piano knowledge and wants to point us towards or away from a specific brand or style, we welcome the recommendation! This will just be a little family room piano that our kids can learn to play as they grow and the few musicians in our family can use to entertain us during holiday parties. Nothing extravagant, but something that will last to pass on to future generations.

  We got ours several years ago from Cannon Pianos in San Bernardino. They're still there on E Street. Their website is cannonpianos.com. I don't remember what we paid-we purchased a used piano from them. We still use them to tune our piano too.
