  Claire Hunter from Claire's comfy canines in Burnham is really good. My normally terrified dog actually loves going there and comes home looking and smelling great. Reasonably priced too.   Before I start trawling through the various dog grooming places on google and getting myself all confused, is anyone a groomer who can do a wash, strip and nail cut of my elderly pooch? I'll attach a photo in comments. Two things - 1) he has a strip of fur down his back that's course and requires stripping meticulously (I'm tired of it shedding all the time!) and b) most importantly, he needs handling with care - he's epileptic and although this is controlled with twice daily medication, I need someone who won't freak out if he does have a seizure. I'll obviously stay with him the entire time. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you :-)

  Hi heather I own Claire's comfy canines. We would be delighted to help. We have hands on experience with epileptic dogs due to 2 of my regular (daily visitors) crèche attendees having epilepsy which sadly means we have plenty of experience in this and administration of any medication if he should have a fit whilst in our care. ( we are day care as well as the spa) in fact both my groomers have either worked in vets and or qualified in canine care in addition to being qualified groomers.
