  Looking for advice. Father in laws 2005 yamaha 225 direct in jection 2 stroke took a dump on his pontoon boat, dealer sais 3-4 cylinders scorched low compression. Needs a new power head costing 68-7500$. Boat sat like 2 years, so they blame it on old gas, wich it was only 87 octane with no fuel treatment put in. Who would you trust to get motor work done? Boat is in temple at dealer, but found a guy in hutto that rebuilds them.
