  Since were talking about arborists I just had a certified arborist with his crew of 3 additional men, come to a clients site to remove a bunch of trees. There was a very small amount of aesthetic pruning. It was mostly cleaning out overgrown scrub: mostly volunteer Bays & other smallish scrub. They worked for 4.5-5 hrs, including chipping (in their chipper), leaving the chips on site (so no dump fee). Is $1500 reasonable? Seems high to me.   Im grateful to hear this feedback. Thank you all! Ive simply asked him to explain his charges. I am a landscaper and at this point, wont use him in the future.
