  Recommendations for electricians, plumbers, etc. I'm currently looking for an electrician and was wondering whether people had "word-of-mouth" recommendations. There are a ton of review sites out there but they tend to be easily gamed and I'm hoping that the sleazy contractors out there haven't started shilling reddit yet. Basically, if you've had good (or bad!) experiences with an electrician, plumber, painter, or other type of contractor around the RVA area, please post them here for posterity.
