In 2015 whilst planning a trip to Scotland in our Defender 110 we were keen to take some form of shower system as we were hoping to wild camp as much as possible.
After much searching we were struggling to find a system that would work for us. Basic solar showers are great in the right conditions but limited use on an overcast day in Scotland! Plumbed in systems to the vehicle are great but can be expensive and as my Defender is my works vehicle I didn't want something permanently installed.
It became frustrating as we knew we'd have access to plenty of water and the ability to heat the water via our petrol camping stove, we just didn't have an efficient way to heat a large quantity of water and then dispense it as a shower.
Just as we were about to design our own system we discovered Boundarytec based in Minnesota USA. Chris had designed exactly what we were after. A simple yet effective system that was very compact, very lightweight and most importantly worked!
After a successful trip to Scotland we offered to help promote the system in the UK and Chris very kindly gave us UK distributors rights.

Noel D. asked:Now I know mines not a campervan but we sort of do use it like a camper. Question is I am looking to use a 12v shower system and fit a leisure battery. I am wondering if someone has ever rigged one up to a bottle that would supply it hot water? . I'm thinking a barrel with a heating element in? Any one done similar? Reason for it is after a day on the jetski it would be good to to shower off all salt water before travelling home.
