  I'm looking for recommendations from anyone for a classic car mechanic or shop that specializes in 60's and 70's muscle cars in KCMO or KCK. A place that knows how to tune up a stock 350 engine with a points distributor and a carburetor. A place that has old school tools and test equipment. and a mechanic that does not depend on a computer to tell them whats wrong. Does a place like this even exist anymore? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Hello. New to the group. I've got a 57 GMC 100 pickup and I'm looking for someone to do my body and paint work. The truck is completely disassembled and will be blasted soon. All body panels are in reasonable to good shape. No major areas of damage, rust or rot that patch pieces aren't available for. All areas in need of metal work are typical of a truck this age. I have a lot more pictures or am available to show it in person here in KC. My dad and I started this project a few years ago and this is the final major step!
