  Barber Shop Shout-Out Just wanted to give a quick shout-out to Classic Barber Shop in Lansing off of Michigan Ave. They always do a great job and highly recommend it to those who have fallen into the "Great Clips or Judes" trap. For those who are price sensitive, yes it is worth the couple extra bucks more than you are used to. I think they do a nice job for everyone, but I especially see a lot of young professionals in there.

  I am looking for recommendations for affordable hair salons, preferably salons that don't have a 3 week wait, that are able to cut my toddler's hair. He just turned two and he has some sensory issues. I attempted to go to Hair Masters in the mall and we ended up leaving because she wasn't able to cut a strand of his hair. I'm not upset as I completely understand the difficulty she was having and probably couldn't cut his hair myself if I tried. I just need to know if there is a hidden gem of a stylist out there with a lot of patience and real experience cutting wiggly kids hair.
