  Hi lovely people, my dear friend who has a ridiculous amount of health problems has just been diagnosed with sarcoidosis on the brain, she has it in other areas too like her eyes and possibly her lungs. She is anaphylactic and pretty much allergic to most of her meds. She has rheumatoid arthritis and has never recovered from recent operations to remove gall bladder where things went wrong. Bless her I feel so sorry for her and she's house bound aged 53! Does anyone have any good treatment for any of these conditions please? She is pretty scared to take anything new due to allergic reactions usually in preservatives in meds or foods etc. Not good at all but I just wondered anyone's thoughts please. Many thanks

  Need some recommendations for a juicer. Tawan doesn't have much of an appetite (at all, really), and is relying on Ensure drinks for his calories and nutrients. Would love to give him some real food, so we are venturing into the world of juicing. We have a Vitamix. Great for smoothies, but not so much for juicing. Any advice is welcomed!

  If budget isn't an issue and you would like to get the most out of your juicer, look into Norwalk juicer/cold-press. They are the only machines that the Gerson therapy/institute uses. (see gerson.org) Norwalks are triturating machines which can't compare to centrifuge and/or masticating machines. They put out 50% more "juice" than any other machine (scientifically proven). If a person juices multiple times a day, the savings is about 1 k/year in produce cost. Used machines can be found on craigslist or ebay (without a warranty) but they're built like tanks and most people don't sell them so they can be hard to find at times. fyi, a cheap juicer (less than a couple hundred bucks) is fine too (better than nothing) but you won't get all the nutrients and enzymes that you can with a norwalk. so much history, so much to share, times-a-tickin. anyway, check them out. they're the real deal. when it comes to health, you don't want to cut corners with quality. lastly, compared to the juicers mentioned on this thread, this is by no means "fast", there is a process involved- but it is the best. hands down. hope this helps some. if you have any questions, i'd be happy to try to help further. my best of luck to you!
