About us
My name is Stacey Rugotska. I am a photographer originally located in Tucson, AZ but now located in Mandan, ND. I specializes in families and newborn photography. I have always loved photography and decided to put my hobby to use and attended Southwest University of Visual Arts, and graduated in May 2011 with a Bachelors or Fine Arts in Photography. Since then I have had a few jobs in portrait studios. However, having studied in a Fine Arts program I pride myself in my unique eye and ability to create a unique composition, because of this I decided to start my own business.
And so Pink Birdie Portraits was born! It is a goal of mine to enjoy every photo session I create. I want the family to feel they have a say in what they want in their portraits, but with putting my own vision into it. I am a great people person and love children. Newborns, and children are my favorite subject with family and maternity sessions a close second! I love being a part of capturing important moments for families, it is an amazing feeling having such importance in capturing a moment in a way that everyone will remember.
Aside from photography, I am married to my best friend, Chris Rugotska. We have a toddler, who is the star of many photo sessions and a new baby on the way! We also have two cats and two dogs who also know the joy of being photographed.
