  It seems that a common request this time of the year is for recommendations for chimney sweeps. Today we had Dan Boden, local guy who has a huge truck full of everything fireplace. (he was recommended, I have no connection with him - I always wonder if people just recommend their friends). Judging from the amount of time he spent on it, I think we have a clean chimney, he put down lots of tarps and was very clean - the fireplace and all surroundings were spotless when he left, he did extras without charging and was very pleasant. Having a fire tonight!

  We have used Dan Boden for several years. Installed our woodstove, has cleaned the chimney every year & constructed a deflector to protect our wooden mantle. (Ev n Seay painted parts to make it all blend in!) He’s the best!
