  What to do after the storm as repairs are needed? The requirement for issuance of a permit prior to beginning work is suspended for all emergency, storm-related repairs. Please call 770.206.5600 as soon as work begins to schedule an inspection. Indicate in your inspection request, your name, phone number, street address, type of work being done and that the work is storm related. An inspector will contact you to set up an inspection time. Note that your contractor will need to obtain a permit for the work via the City's expedited Storm Repairs Permit Process. Permit fees for emergency repairs will be waived.
