  Have a friend that is looking to hear about experiences from other people who have dealt with pediatric dentistry issues - her 6 year old has a cavity that's deep enough that the dentist is advising a crown be placed on the tooth. Has anybody dealt with this - the other option is to pull the tooth and have a spacer placed there...any advise anybody has would be great

  I would say pull it and go with the spacer.. Good chance that could happen even if you did a crown first. Less traumatic for the kid.
