Our shop supports local artisans from San Juan de Oriente, which is a small village in Masaya, Nicaragua. Our mission is to highlight the talent and creativity of Nicaraguan artisans while allowing them to support their families and their local economy. All items are designed and handcrafted by hand in our home workshop. There are several artisans that work for in our shop. We are currently highlighting Valentin Lopez and Alfredo Espinoza, whom are both talented artists that create unique and impressive pieces of art, which are full of details and vibrant colors. They use clay and organic tools to shape and carve the pottery including a pottery wheel and sea stones to polish each piece, The pieces are inspired by the original pottery made by native Nicaraguans who used these items for kitchen utensils, home décor, and religious altars. Each piece is an exquisite piece of art.We are happy to share with you such amazing creations. Nature In Hand.
Looking for an antique mall or something similar. I'm hoping to find a place to browse for fun and maybe buy something small. I'm not an antique collector but I enjoy looking through places like it. Does anyone know of a place like Scott's Antique market that's open today? Thanks!
