About us

"SHESHA was the nickname given to our father Ricardo de Carvalho, which in Portuguese colloquial slang means 'something amazing'. Ricardo's love for food and creative passion together with my mother’s drive for film production inspired me from a young age and guided me into the busy film industry. We opened our doors in 2005 and have been setting new standards every year. With a staff complement of 250 employees and branches in both Cape Town and Johannesburg, we can proudly say we have a big family that just loves creating sensational food."
