Any vet recommendations? My roommate let my dog out and she was missing for 12 days and animal control just found her two days ago. She came home with hundreds of ticks and her ears scabbed up like this. I've removed the ticks but still need to take her in to get medicine for her ears and make sure she doesn't need anything else. I need to take her to a vet ASAP that doesn't charge me out the ass like the one I go to in buckhead. (I know it's probably going to be expensive but looking for a new recommended vet anyways)

Go to Well Pet Humane. It is at a low cost veterinary office for adopted animals only. All of Ocelots shots every year are only about $45 and as their flea meds are discounted too www.wellpethumane.com

Recently found out some unsettling things about my current veterinarian, as far as treatment of animals. Avidly looking for a new one; as my dog needs knee surgery. T.I A
We need some help. Our cat Lucy was outside and missing for a couple days she drug herself up to us this morning with this. Yes that is bone sticking out and her leg is completely disconnected from her body. We don't have any money. Does anyone know of a vet that takes payment plans? Or anyone know what we can do to help her? Please no negative comments we just want our Lucy fixed.

Does anyone know of a vet that will work with me on payment. I have a 5 yet old rescue that has a bad yeast infection on her tummy area and she has to be miserable with all the scratching. I have tried giving her benedryl but it's not touching the itch. I am sure she needs prednisone and antibiotics. I am a single mom and do not have a lot of money to spend on vet. Can somebody please tell me what I can do to relieve the itching.

Hi does the Humane Society help low income pet owners with vet costs if they can't afford to pay for services ? If not can you suggest somewhere in Atlanta that does help low income disabled pet owners with vet costs for pets that have medical problems?

Still have not found the owner for this sweet lil girl. Found wondering Wayward Drive on saturday. I have taken care of her nails, ears, and been keeping the one eye she still has clean. I am having a hard time rehoming her when I tell people she needs around $300 in vet attention. I would really like to at least get her checked out. She seems happy but the one eye left keeps forming a green mucus. If anyone can recommend a vet that could work with me on the bill I would greatly appreciate any help.

Veterinarian Recommendations near Brookhaven or North Metro Atlanta that won't break my bank account? If anyone has any recommendations for a vet that is not terribly expensive and knows what they are doing, please let me know! My dog needs to get to a vet tomorrow, but I unfortunately can't take him somewhere that is going to cost me an arm and a leg. The last vet I took him too was reasonably priced, but he wasn't much help. So if you have any you recommend, please let me know!
Your help is greatly appreciated!

The stray who sleeps on my porch has an injured paw. She's not tame enough to touch or pick up to go to the vet. Does anyone recommend a rescue group?

Update on Marilyn: When I checked the trap this morning, there she was! Chip had put a blanket over it, so it was a dark cave for her. I took her to Wellpet Humane this afternoon, and as they didn't have open appointments, I left her there so they can look at her when they get a second. They would like her picked up at 7:30 tonight, but I can't do it - I'm teaching a class from 6-9 and won't be available. If there's anyone out there who can pick her up that would be wonderful! If not, she can stay until tomorrow, it'll just cost the $20 overnight. The price for the treatment depends of many factors: will they have to anesthetize her to examine her or treat her? Will she need antibiotics or pain medication? Will she need xrays or a splint or surgery? We will know when the vet has seen her, and I trust Wellpet Humane to be good people. http://wellpethumane.com/ While she's there, they will also check her gender. Perhaps Marilyn will become Monroe!...
