Cathy J. replied:Update on Marilyn: When I checked the trap this morning, there she was! Chip had put a blanket over it, so it was a dark cave for her. I took her to Wellpet Humane this afternoon, and as they didn't have open appointments, I left her there so they can look at her when they get a second. They would like her picked up at 7:30 tonight, but I can't do it - I'm teaching a class from 6-9 and won't be available. If there's anyone out there who can pick her up that would be wonderful! If not, she can stay until tomorrow, it'll just cost the $20 overnight. The price for the treatment depends of many factors: will they have to anesthetize her to examine her or treat her? Will she need antibiotics or pain medication? Will she need xrays or a splint or surgery? We will know when the vet has seen her, and I trust Wellpet Humane to be good people. http://wellpethumane.com/ While she's there, they will also check her gender.
