One of the stupidest FB questions ever, but I KNOW there's somebody out there like me. I have a Westinghouse house fan that I bought in High School (circa 1970) for about $2.00, and it's never stopped working ever since. It says "Copyright 1911", so I know it's been working for over 100 years. Sadly, it just stopped. I found a comparable fan on line (http://www.vintagefans.com/gallery/unrestored_desk_fans/1911west12.html) although mine is not in nearly as good shape. But I hate to give it up. It's actually one of my longest adult relationships! Reputable restoration/repair local service suggestions? Most of the time I've tried this with antiques I love, they get destroyed by the very person who "pretends" to repair them. Need references!
