  We just bought a house and were planning to patch some cracks and repaint the walls this week. The Crack turned out to be completely hollow and all the plaster around the area was pulling away from the walls. So this tiny project is not so tiny anymore. We asked a contractor family member and they said we'd need to replace the whole wall, preferably with drywall. Do you know/have any suggestions for someone/company that could help us with this project? We'd appreciate any input. I know this was lengthy, but thanks in advance!
