I'm moving to LA (I'll be in downtown but I have a car so I can go further if necessary) and I'm going to need all new furniture and I kind of like vintage-y boho look (you know like reclaimed wood and distressed look) so I'm looking for any recommendations. My last place I just got cheap ikea stuff or the cheapest stuff off Amazon but now I kinda want something solid, you know. Anyone got any second-hand recommendations?   I've never been, but have heard awesome things about the Long Beach Antique Market. We're going to try and go this weekend. http://www.longbeachantiquemarket.com/ That store near Redondo and Anaheim is great. There are a couple of cute shops on first, too, that are fairly reasonable. Whatever you do, I'd only go look for inspiration on 4 th, but would never buy. It's incredibly overpriced over there (Mad Men markup?) and you're just paying them to do the homework and a little restoration work for you.
