I know this was asked recently but can't find the post. Who does everyone use for a utility company? My nstar/ever source bills have nearly doubled, need to switch asap. Thanks
David P. replied:
Go with http://www.viridian.com/ it cut my bill in half.
Kathleen C. replied:
Look into Viridian
David P. replied:
well viridian is just the provider. if there is an outage then nstar would be responsible still to get it fixed. and they are fixed rate that doesnt change the entire term as long as you choose the fixed rate term. you can cancel any time but there would be an early term fee to cancel. i personally love the fact that my price went down!
Betsy W. replied:
Viridian is only 1 cent less than EverSource!! And they are not fixed!!! Maybe for a short time... And have termination fee! Now is not the best time to switch , if worried about fees from EverSource, summer is lower! But worth it if you get a great low rate. Us Grant thank you for posting Spark, are EverSource customers eligible?
Anyone use any alternative energy suppliers other than national grid? Been looking into options, Thanks!
B I. replied:
I use www.viridian.com. I switched before the rate hike from National Grid. Did some pretty extensive research and they had the best rate at that time with the longest contract locking in that rate for 3 years. Termination fee is only $50 so even if I don't wnat to stay with them its not a big deal t break. My bills still come from National Grid but just has Viridians logo on it and their rates.
