  Two questions: 1 - Does anyone have any tips on getting cat pee out of a microfiber couch? I've pulled apart the cushions and everything is just sort of soaking in my bathtub in woolite and tepid water but I'm afraid it's not going to get the smell out. If it doesn't come out is there a professional cleaner who can fix this? I had to get rid of one sofa a few years ago because she peed on it the smell never would come out no matter what I tried. 2 - Can anyone recommend a vet near the McGavock area who might take a walk-in Monday? My cat is eight years old and the only time she's done something like this before is when I was gone overnight right after I moved and she wasn't used to the new house yet, but that's been a few years ago. She's never done this while I'm in the house and I'm wondering if she has a UTI maybe. I've got her in a room with just her litter box, food and water right now and hoping she's just being a butt and isn't sick. :\ thanks

  Last week our dog peed on the carpet in our living room. Over the last few years she has done this once or twice and Ive successfully cleaned the carpet with no smells and no stain. Well this time its not successful. Ive steamed clean the carpet with vinegar and then the next day used actual toxic carpet cleaner. Ive also sprinkled heavily with baking soda. I can still smell it.....So we have some extra carpet padding and will cut out the current padding in that area and replace it with the new padding. Do you recommend anything to clean pee out of carpet? Its not a stain but just a matter of smell. Any tips would be much appreciated! fyi-our carpet is light brown.

  There's a product called Kid's N Pets; also an enzyme cleaner that works wonders for stains, odors etc. Non toxic, kid and pet friendly...hence the name wink emoticon The trick with enzyme cleaners tho, is that it works best if it's the first thing you use on the "spot" as other cleaners etc may inhibit it's ability to work. But, sometimes, there is still success. I'm never without it! $5 a bottle at my local walmart. http://kidsnpetsbrand.com/
