About us
I’m Jarrod, and I’m dog obsessed. Because of this, every dog that enters my grooming parlour is treated as my own and as I would expect my dog to be treated elsewhere.
I started grooming in 2012 and since then I’ve completed the Certificate in Animal Management, specialising in Canine Behaviour and Training.
This has helped give me the knowledge of proven dog training techniques to make your dog’s grooming experience as positive as possible.
Over the years I’ve worked with many puppies on their first grooms and dogs that have been fearful of the grooming process. Through the use of positive reinforcement, taking things slowly, distraction and variable speed dryers I’m proud to say that I have had lots of success in properly acclimating these dogs to this sometimes stressful experience.
The shampoo I use on your dogs is top of the range WASHBAR products. They are locally made, 100% natural, cruelty free, environmentally friendly, helps fight itching, deters fleas and ticks, battles fungal infections, whitens whites and leaves a show quality shine. These products are also free of synthetics such as parabens, sulphates, synthetic fragrances or colours.
As you can tell, at GrrRUMA my main objective is to not only keep your dog looking great but also to keep your dog happy and healthy.

Wash, brush & dry $40+
Full treatment (warm bath, blow dry, fluff, style, ears, nails, pads & play)
Toy breeds $55 - $60
Terrier size breeds $60 - $65
Medium breeds $65 - $75
Large breeds $75 - $90
Extra Large breeds $90 - $120
(If dogs are matted there may be an additional cost)
