I would prefer to hear from those who have first hand knowledge or are very close to someone who has had this surgery.   My Dad had knee replacement surgery at Piedmont Hospital and Mom has fallen twice and broke the hip once and the knee and elbow once. They used Dr. Joseph Wilkes, 105 Collier Rd., NW, Suite 2000, Atlanta, GA (404-352-1053 and his partner is Dr. Jarrett. They did a wonderful job on Mom and Dad did really well with the knee replacement (and Dad was 84 yrs. old).

  Can anyone in our area recommend a good Orthopaedic Doctor? Have used Resurgens (Hwy 54 in Fayetteville) but tired of arriving on time for appt and then taking an hour to be called back followed by 45 mins to 1 hour more to see Doctor... it ends up being a 3+ hour evolution which kills my whole day
