About us
Paul's has been building since 2008 when he designed and built a chest for extra storage his home. At the time his wood shop was a spare bedroom in a townhouse in Richmond, Va. He moved on to build bed side tables and then he reworked the wood from his grandparent's cedar picnic table and made a coffee table.
In 2013, with his first daughter on the way, Paul set out to build her crib. His build space had been upgraded to a large barn but was 45 minutes each way north of his home in Gainesville, Va. In November 2013 he and his wife brought their daughter home to her new handmade maple and oak crib and now in 2016 his second daughter is sleeping in the same crib and Paul is completing his second crib from maple for his sister-in-law.
And now in his wood shop at home where his two-year-old can watch him build (which she loves to do and asks to go to the shop all the time) Paul has also completed a walnut bedroom set of a tallboy dresser and dresser and two night stands, Hickory living room end tables, cutting boards, built in shelving and cupboards to go with the slab walnut bar in his man cave not to mention he also turned a small storage cupboard into a spacious play house for the girls in this "man cave"
Paul enjoys searching the north Texas area for the best sources of wood to complete projects with the best character. He and his daughter will go on any road trip he needs so he can bring his visions to life.
