  Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant? I moved to Fremont about a week ago so I don't know any nice restaurants. My fiance is flying in from Montreal in a week and we'd like to go to a nice dinner together since we haven't seen each other in months (she's been working overseas). I'm looking to spend around $60-$100 but don't mind going over. Could anyone recommend a nice place? I've been looking at sites online but they've been very unhelpful. edit: Thought about it and decided I have no intention of going as low as $60 total. I'm thinking about $50 per entree, not including appetizers, desserts, or beverages.

  I went to [Purple](http://www.thepurplecafe.com/) last night for my wife's birthday and loved it. Great food and wonderful wine - they do an amazing cheese called "barely buzzed" that has an espresso crust on it. Make reservations, though - it's pretty popular.
